Some various tips for you and others: General tips: - Power cost is seemingly around $0.0318/w (at-least at the Archipelago Cottage) - Water cost varies a bit - Waste is best disposed once you have above 200g (static $1000 cost up-to 200g) - Overall, you'll make a profit regardless of utility usage - I think there's something to be said about having larger crafting queues over time-to-complete - When you increase your rep level at a seller, you must back-out of the sell window and re-open it to take advantage of the increased discount - It might be beneficial (money/time wise) to have a hideout in every location, with a distributor in each location. Slav's Bay apparently has 36 clients and 4 dealer spots (so you're looking at 9 clients per dealer if you want them all on a distributor) - Apparently it's fine to have your special clients being handled by a dealer. It's said that they'll just ask for a large amount instead of a special order (no idea on the truth, but I'd hope they're not handled like a normal client and give you minimal cash. But even so, that's fine with me) Weed production: - Look at getting and using seedling pots (I myself have two). Lets you take seeds, fertilizer and water and turn them into male/female variants. Males (a bit rare to get) give you some leaves but also seeds (15 for sativa). Females give you a large amount of leaves (200 for sativa) - Mini-markets sell 5kg bags of fertilizer (can't recall if this is off-the-bat or after the first rep level) - The "Hybrid dryer" is technically the best dryer for weed. Though, the "Drying outdoor rack" has a base queue of 250 compared to the "Hybrid dryer"'s 100 (but it has to be placed outside, so there's only a few hideouts it can be used at) - Distributors seem to prefer going through your indica stash first, then your sativa (fine with me, until I need to make more funny cookies) Amp production: - I'm liking the "Homemade soaking vat", allowing me to queue up 200 crafts. No idea on the "Laboratory Soaking Vat" currently - You can find an extraction recipe for phenylethylamine and potassium hydroxide in a warehouse on the map (this doesn't seem to be quest related, but see "considered spoilers" section at the bottom) from chocolate bars, giving you the best amp-salt recipe. Also allows for you to extract phen. from cocoa powder (maybe a bit in bulk, haven't checked) - In relation to the above, I think that this likely needs to be used in addition to one of the other recipes. Mini-markets sell between 5 and 20 chocolate bars (depends on each as well as rep level) - Amp is my slowest (both time, but also accumulation) producing drug out of the first three, and I still tend to buy it from Marcus, hence the above tip Meth production: - The "Chemistry table" is hard to beat for extraction UNLESS space is your concern. It has a crafting queue of 90 (the "Laboratory orbital shaker" has a queue of 50), and an energy cost of 5w (compared to 300w for the orbital shaker) - Cough syrup is great for making meth. Cheap and you can get a bunch (I'm working on almost 1kg of meth) - Based on my experience, I'd recommend using a different water bath for the meth compound and amp as you can keep both going - The ice bath uses half as much power as the water bath, but both have the same crafting queue. The ice bath also looks to be solely for meth production (so far) Haven't gotten to anything else currently. Listed below are some things that could be considered spoilers (tried to add cap'd information if you want to try to avoid potential spoilers you don't want): - PHENYL RECIPE - You can find the actual extraction recipes of phenylethylamine in the warehouse under "Bogan the Mechanic" on the same island of Slav's Bay, up a bit from the beach at the bottom (not easily able to describe it). This will allow you to extract it from cocoa powder and chocolate bars (with chocolate bars also giving you potassium hydroxide) - MORPHINE RECIPE - Apparently you can find the morphine recipe from the seller in the Meth Store (I noticed that the quest does state to "ask your contacts", making it sound like "people we already know") - PROFITABLE BUYER? - In the Jungle, on the beach above and to the left (on the map) of the Meth Store, there seems to be a hidden seller / buyer, who buys knifes at a larger price than you can buy them. Stumbled across him and found that he actually buys the Stop Sign weapons for a decent amount compared to other stores -

where you buy the macine for meth

So you accidentally bought and sold my favourite farm in the game, outside pots need to go outside. All you have to do is bring that "house" fertiliser and water which is easy with the attached dock

All the elegant clothing, including the watch and the briefcase, you should store in you wardrobe and only wear that when arranging meetings; It gets your swag yay up there and you'll be able to negotiate more favourable percentages and perhaps even get an extra employee or two. Just put it all back when you're done with the meeting - it serves no other use. Also, be sure to dismount any weapons that increase sus or negatively affect swag. The military stuff is great for wheelin' and dealin' as it lowers visibility, offers some protection and extra storage space. And thanks for the little shoutout about the lone bookshelf in the empty villa - you're very welcome ^^

The place you accidentally bought in the beginning is good for outdoor growing. The low visibility and higher security, thanks to the fence, makes it good for that. Also, I believe it's only the fenced in places where you can place outdoor objects, but can be mis-remembering.

I briefly saw a Book case in the side room to the left of that 1.5 mil hideout as you were leaving. might be worth another look if it has a lower level hideaway.

You are lucky to knew that that mission was possible with getting that baguette in to fighting 😄 I did not know that when I first played so I got the crappy Pirate King storyline and a ton of problems with that save... Now I am playing all over again but hopefully right. By the way, at some places you can buy some money via check, so you don't always have to visit the pawn shop 👍🏻

In the 2nd room at meth dealer search his desk for the epehdrine recipe, its not gram loss its how much waste the production of it makes which goes in trash can if its loss of product a yellow bar will show inside the crafting window. Remmember to clear trash bin often as it takes space in subsrance storage and can become expensive

Did you know the waterbath and oven actually go under the table? Saves so much space!

The one that is only 1200W also produces 10g of waste compared to 4g for the other one.

Why don’t you use smaller hideout from drug production place on the same island and then hve you distributer hideout where ever you want them and they can be bigger ones or small one or buy one big house have all your drug production in that one hideout and then put your distributor in the small hideouts

Just make sure to have plenty of tape and wrappings at places of production, if it gets raided while you are there just make the biggest package you can make of each product and dip out. Come back after and just throw them straight back onto the tray. No product loss, just dont get downed running to a different hideout

What is the key combo to quick move items between inventories? I’ve tried the usual combinations but I can figure it out. Help?

I wonder if there's a difference in those machines for the ephedrine compound of total batch size, so maybe the ice machine can do a bigger batch at once even though its the same ratio? I'd be curious to know because I don't think the electricity difference is significant enough to matter especially once you're late enough in the game to get them. Especially since that smaller one has .5 less visibility on it. As far as extracting ephedrine from cough medicine the recipe can be found if you look around hard enough, expand this comment only if you want a small hint. You'll find a desk in the jungle with it if you look around enough.

There is a recipe for extracting ephedrine in game. You was extremely close to it at the start of this video, if only you went into "That room" lol. Plus shutters are fixed on the new version after the last patch

some people may not like this but i definitely do; so you have made videos explaining what certain things mean for example the visibility and security. but in this video you talked about and re-explained it again. i love that you keep explaining that because some people may only be watching this video and will now know that instead of having to go find a separate video dedicated to that. so i love that you explain everything as you go through your gameplay, loving your series man!

ive reported the hideout upgrades going missing and also the car travel bug where cops drag you into a dialogue you cant get out of to devs they are on it.

Are you still having your windows disappear? It looks like mine now stay after the update, but i was raided over 10 times prior. Also im not sure but I heard using less electricity also means you have less visibility - if thats true then that could be another reason to get the bigger machines.

You know, I've watched several videos now of DDS2 from others. You so far of what I've seen, are the only one who seems to have a sense of what he's doing... I literally watched a guy try to put water in a baggie of weed... >.> . I don't like putting anyone down but these videos of theirs is scaring me about the future of man-kind in gaming.
